Anti-thrombotic/anti-embolism thigh-high stockings with closed toe BRS08
Compression level: 18-21 mmHg
These stockings help restore the pressure and speed of blood circulation in the venous system, re-establishing normal values, eliminating stasis and clots that can lead to the formation of embolisms or thromboses.
They are designed for patients who are bedridden due to locomotor conditions or during pre/post-operative hospitalization, and for people with venous circulatory disorders of the lower limbs.
Because the aforementioned individuals have reduced muscle activity in their lower limbs, they are prone to forming small blood clots (thromboses) which are dangerous to the patient's health; in this context, using the stockings prevents this phenomenon from occurring.
Recommendations:
put on the stockings first thing in the morning, when the legs are less swollen
preferably wash by hand, using water at max. 350C and liquid detergent or soap, then rinse using water at the same temperature. Do not wring and do not dry on heat sources
you can apply silicone lotion or talcum powder to the skin to make it easier for the stockings to slide along the lower limb
keep in touch with your specialist doctor if you feel your toes are numb or if the skin starts to change color while wearing the compression stockings
