Stump compression stockings are medical devices used for improving circulation and shaping the stump.
The compression of Elastomed stockings is 23-32 mmHg.
Their purpose is to improve the patients' condition
Do not remove the threads and the ends of the threads from inside the stockings, as this can damage the product!
Composition
• 61% polyamide
• 39% elastane
Application
Because the stockings are made of a fine and thin thread, to avoid mechanical damage, put on and take off the stockings carefully.
You can use rubber gloves when putting on or taking off the stockings.
Pull the stockings on carefully, gradually, and slowly.
Finally, smooth the stocking with a slightly damp hand or with the rubber glove and arrange the material so that it is free of creases!
To take off the stocking, insert two fingers into the stocking and carefully push the stocking down!
Cleaning
Hand wash the compression stockings in lukewarm water (maximum 40 °C) using a mild alkaline detergent. Squeeze out excess water only by wrapping them in a dry towel. Do not dry the stockings on hot radiators or in the sun. Do not iron the stockings.
